Here are the three categories of the Express Entry Program -
STEP 1 - Check eligibility for Canada PR using a CRS score calculator. Obtain 67 or more points to qualify for permanent residency in Canada.
STEP 2 - Obtain Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) certification that will act as proof of your educational eligibility in Canada.
STEP 3 - Take the language test, IELTS, to check your proficiency level in English or French. Scoring a minimum of 6 bands is mandatory for Canada PR.
STEP 4 - Create an Express Entry Profile under Express Entry or PNP. Submit it to the Express Entry pool.
STEP 5 - Once CRS Score has been obtained, you will receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) and in 60 days, you will have to submit your application and required documents to IRCC.
STEP 6 - Get a medical examination and Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) to prove you have no criminal records. It is mandatory to get a Canada PR Visa. The visa process will then take 4 to 6 months.
