This Australia Visa authorizes the family member to visit friends or family, study, and travel around Australia for a maximum of 3 months for every visit.

You must note that there is no Work authorization on this Australia Visa. It is a perfect option for those who seek to remain temporarily in Australia.

The sponsor who is a Permanent Resident or Citizen in Australia has to be at least 18 years of age. They must also be able to pay for a security bond if asked by the Home Affairs Department.

Subclass 491 Regional Skilled Temporary Work Visa

The Family Sponsored stream under Subclass 491 Visa enables qualified skilled workers and their members of the family to reside, study, and work in Australian Regional Areas for 5 years.

Qualified relatives include:

  • A parent
  • A step-child or child
  • A sister, brother, adoptive sister, adoptive brother, step-sister or step-brother
  • An uncle, aunt, adoptive uncle, adoptive aunt, step-uncle, or step-aunt
  • A niece, nephew, adoptive niece, adoptive nephew, step-niece,or step-nephew
  • A grandparent, or
  • A first cousin

Subclass 491 Regional Skilled Temporary Work Visa

 Subclass 835 / Subclass 115 Remaining Relative Visa

Subclass 835 / Subclass 115 are an Australia Visa for remaining relative/s. Subclass 835 is for applicants who are present in Australia while filing the application. Subclass 115 is for applicants who are abroad while filing the application.

  • A Sponsor
  • The reason for your visit to Australia must not include medical treatment or business
  • No other close relatives which means:
    • Step-parent or parent
    • Step-parent or parent of partner
    • Step-sibling or sibling
    • Stepchild or child who is aged 18 years or more and not dependent on them
    • Stepchild or child who is aged less than 18 years and not in the control and daily care of your partner or you
  • Support Assurance – To ensure that the applicant will not be dependent on assistance from the Government
  • To fulfil the character and health requirements

Subclass 836 / Subclass 116 Carer Visa

Carer Visa is a Permanent Subclass Visa. It authorizes the applicant to immigrate to Australia to provide care to a person having a medical condition of long-term.

To qualify the applicant must:

  • Be a Carer
  • Possess a sponsor
  • Fulfill character and health criteria
  • The sponsor has to:
  • Be a relative of the applicant
