Immigration Program Fees

Canada offers several immigration pathways. The most common route for skilled workers is through the Express Entry Program, which includes programs like:

  • Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
  • Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
  • Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)

Each program has specific requirements and fees.

Category Fees (CAD) Fees (AED approx.)
Primary Applicant $1,365 ~3,700 AED
Spouse or Partner $1,365 ~3,700 AED
Dependent Child (per child) $230 ~610 AED

Language Test Costs

You must take an approved English or French language test. The most popular option is the IELTS – General Training. The IELTS cost in the UAE is around AED 1,300 to AED 1,400 per attempt. Prepare well so you don’t have to take the test multiple times, which can add to your costs.

Educational Credential Assessment (ECA)

If you completed your education outside Canada, you must get your credentials assessed. The most common organization used is WES (World Education Services).

  • WES Fee: $240 CAD (~AED 635)
  • Courier Charges: $10 - $85 CAD (~AED 30 - AED 230)

Total: Around AED 700 to AED 900

Medical Examination

All applicants must undergo a medical exam by a panel physician approved by IRCC (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada). The cost in UAE for a medical exam is AED 500 to AED 900 per person. It may vary depending on the clinic and location.

Police Clearance Certificate (PCC)

You must submit a Police Clearance Certificate from the UAE (and other countries you’ve lived in for 6+ months). It costs around AED 200 to AED 300 per person. You can apply for it online or through a police service center in your emirate.

Proof of Funds (Settlement Funds)
