Along with dependent children and protected persons, the following applicants are exempt from paying the RPR fee:
In addition to the fees listed above, the Canada PR visa will also include fees for the following:
You need to prove your English or French language skills as a part of the Canada PR process. For that, you need to take the IELTS exam, which costs around INR 17,000 and is valid for 2 years.
Getting your foreign educational credentials evaluated by a Canadian body such as WES is crucial to see if they match Canadian standards. For most people, the cost is around CAD 200 plus the cost to have it delivered. The delivery cost will depend on the way you choose it to be sent.
The government of Canada ensures you are fit to travel and settle in their country and to prove that, you need to take a medical exam, conducted by a recognized panel of doctors. This may cost you around CAD 70 to 100.
Along with a medical exam, police clearance is necessary. This shows you do not have a criminal background and will not be a threat to Canadian society. It will cost you around CAD 10.
The last step is to provide biometric information as a part of your Canada PR application process, which costs approximately CAD 85. Families applying together for a visitor visa will only pay a maximum biometric fee of up to CAD 170.
You need to show settlement funds if you choose to apply through its Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) or Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) under Express Entry. Proof of funds is to show you have enough money to support yourself and any family member accompanying you to Canada.
Note that IRCC updates the settlement funds every year for Canada PR Visa. So, check the official website for the updated costs.
