The Germany Opportunity Card allows non-EU nationals to arrive in Germany and search for a suitable job. The candidates are not required to offer evidence of a job offer/employment contract for application.

Further, you will also have to demonstrate that you are financially independent. This can be through a part-time job of 20 hours weekly or an employment contract. It must be noted that nil points are allocated to fulfil the basic criteria.

The application for the Opportunity Card can be submitted at the authorized overseas mission in your nation of residence. The applications for Opportunity Cards are being accepted from June 1, 2024, onwards at the Registration Office for Foreigners in Germany. Applications are also accepted at the applicable German mission in your nation of residence.
