The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) has conducted a new draw. This was the third invitation round conducted by the province in September.

If you have been invited in this latest BC PNP draw, you will have 30 days to submit a complete application for permanent residence (PR) to the BC PNP. If this timeframe passes, your invitation will no longer be valid.

Latest BC PNP Draw - Results

The latest BC PNP draw was held on September 17, 2024. A total of 163 candidates were invited across a Skills Immigration draw. Invited candidates required a minimum score of 83 to be eligible for an invitation.

If you were not invited, your profile will remain active in the application pool – for 12 months from the submission date. You may receive an invitation in the next BC PNP draw. British Columbia conducts 4-5 draws every month - typically every Tuesday.

The next BC PNP draw is expected to be conducted on September 24, 2024.

British Columbia PNP Draws

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) is a way for the province to invite skilled workers, entrepreneurs, and other qualified individuals to apply for permanent residency in Canada. The BC PNP issues invitations through regular draws, which are typically held every week.

In these draws, candidates are selected based on their profile in the BC PNP system, which includes their skills, work experience, and other factors. The draws are divided into different categories, such as Skills Immigration, Express Entry BC, and Entrepreneur Immigration, each targeting specific types of applicants.

The number of invitations issued and the criteria for selection can vary from draw to draw. Factors like the applicant's score in the points system, the demand for certain occupations, and the province's current needs play a role in determining who gets invited.

If you receive an invitation, you'll need to submit a full application to the BC PNP for further review. Successfully completing this process can lead to a nomination for permanent residence, making it easier to apply for a Canadian PR visa.
