The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program has conducted back-to-back Expression of Interest (EOI) draws on October 25th.
A total of 624 EOIs were issued to candidates across three different OINP streams - the Master’s Graduate stream, the Ph.D. stream, and the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream.
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) is the province’s economic immigration program. Working in partnership with Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), the OINP is designed for foreign workers, international students, and others with the right skills, experience, and education to apply for an OINP nomination.
The size and frequency of the Expression of Interest (EOI) selection are determined by the OINP’s application backlog at that time. OINP draws are usually held on a monthly basis – with some exceptions. The dates of the selections will not be posted before they take place.

Here are the details of the three OINP Expression of Interest selection draws held on October 25.
Master’s Graduate Stream
Designed for international graduates, OINP’s Master’s Graduate Stream gives potential candidates with an Ontario Master’s degree the opportunity to work and settle permanently in Ontario.
Ph.D. Stream
Designed for international graduates, OINP’s Ph.D. Stream gives potential candidates with an Ontario Ph.D. degree the opportunity to work and settle permanently in Ontario.
Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream
The Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot (EMPP) was designed to help skilled refugees immigrate to the country – through its existing economic programs. This pilot targets refugee candidates who have strong economic settlement potential by offering them a provincial nomination under the existing Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) such as the OINP.
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) uses an Expression of Interest (EOI) system to select individuals who may meet the eligibility criteria and prerequisites on the immigration streams mentioned above.
If you have been selected from the pool of candidates, you may receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) to the OINP. However, an ITA does not mean that you qualify for one of the OINP streams.
Once you have received an ITA, you may apply online if you qualify under the stream identified in your ITA. You must submit your application within 14 calendar days of receiving the invitation to apply.
The OINP currently manages five streams: Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream, Employer Job Offer: International Student Stream, Employer Job Offer: In-Demand Skills Stream, Masters Graduate Stream, and Ph.D. Graduate Stream.
