The Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) frequently searches the federal Express Entry pool, to select candidates and nominate them to apply for Canada PR. Alberta conducts 2-4 Express Entry draws each month, but the information on the draws held is typically posted one week later.
The Alberta PNP latest draws held in March saw invitations being issued to 75 candidates under the Dedicated Healthcare pathway. The minimum CRS score required to be eligible for an invitation was 303.

If you have been invited in these draws, you must send a copy of your invitation letter - along with the requested information to the AAIP within 2 weeks of receiving the invitation.
If you did not receive an invitation in this round - do not withdraw your application or create a new one. Your profile is valid for 12 months in the pool of candidates. You may be invited in the next Alberta Express Entry draw.

On April 3, the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP) announced that it created a dedicated healthcare pathway, joined the Economic Mobility Pathways Pilot, and loosened the requirements for rural Alberta business and worker programs. Up to 30% of available Express Entry allocations in 2024 will go to healthcare professionals under the Dedicated Healthcare Pathway.
