Alberta Express Entry Stream

The Alberta Express Entry Stream is a provincial immigration pathway designed to select skilled workers who have the potential to contribute to Alberta's economy. Candidates with active profiles in the federal Express Entry pool may receive an invitation letter from Alberta, inviting them to apply to the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program (AAIP).

To be eligible, candidates must meet specific criteria, including having a TEER 3 or equivalent skill level, a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 300, and a primary occupation in demand.

The AAIP focuses on various priority sectors, including health care, tech, agriculture, construction, and tourism. Selections are based on multiple factors, such as family connections, occupational demand, and sector priorities. Interested candidates must respond promptly to the invitation and meet all eligibility requirements to increase their chances of receiving an invitation to apply.
