British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) started 2023 with a bang and conducted back-to-back invitation rounds in the month of January! The latest BC PNP draw held on January 31st, is the fifth for the month, and saw invitations being issued to candidates in the BC PNP’s Skills Immigration stream.
The January 31st, draw issued a total of 284 ITAs to candidates across two categories: Tech and Targeted
CATEGORY 1: Tech Draw
A total of 243 candidates across a Targeted Draw: Tech – with ITAs being issued to Skilled Workers and International Graduates (including EEBC option) with a minimum score of 85.
CATEGORY 2: Targeted Draw
A total of 41 candidates across a Targeted Draw for Skilled Workers and International Graduates (including the EEBC option). Out of the total ITAs issued, 18 were from Childcare: Early Childhood Educators & Assistants (NOC 42202), 18 were from Healthcare, and 5 were from Other Priority Occupations (NOCs 31103, 32104). The minimum score required was 60.
The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) plays a pivotal role in helping support & sustain the province’s economy.
There are two streams that are currently being managed by the BC PNP:
Candidates are ranked & evaluated based on the points achieved under the BC PNP points calculator. Points are assigned based on factors such as Age, Education, Work Experience, Language Proficiency, Adaptability, and Spousal Sponsorship.
Candidates with the highest scores are issued an Invitation to Apply (ITA) to the BC PNP.
