British Columbia has conducted a new draw on January 30, 2024.

The British Columbia PNP latest draw issued 199 invitations to candidates with work experience in in-demand occupations including Childcare, Construction, Healthcare, Veterinary Care, and Tech.

This was the fourth Skills Immigration draw conducted by British Columbia in 2024. So far in January, a total of 994 candidates have been invited by British Columbia across four Skills Immigration draws. BC PNP has been conducting 4-5 draws almost every month in 2023. 

The same trend of issuing high invitations is expected to be carried out throughout the year.

Targeted invitations to apply under the latest BC PNP draw may be based on one or more of the following selection factors:

  • Education - level and field of education and where it was completed
  • Eligible professional designations in B.C
  • Language skills
  • Occupation
  • Duration and skill level of work experience
  • Wage and/or skill level of job offer
  • Intent to live, work and settle in a specific region
  • Strategic priorities - factors that address specific labour market needs in B.C. or support government pilot projects and initiatives

If you’ve been invited

If you’ve been selected in this latest BC PNP draw, you will have 30 days to submit a complete application via the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) online portal - along with the supporting documents and processing fee.

You must submit the application before your nomination expires. If BCPNP approves your application, you will be issued a nomination package - which you can use to apply for Canada PR visa.

You must apply to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), to become a permanent resident of Canada. If the IRCC approves your application, you will become a permanent resident of Canada.

The expected BC PNP next draw prediction is February 07, 2024.

British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) draws are conducted every week - typically on a Wednesday. The timing, frequency, and minimum score of these draws are determined by the BC PNP - and can vary depending on various factors including, the province’s economy, labour market, and the intake targets set in the current immigration levels plan.
