The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) has conducted a new Skills Immigration draw. If you were invited in this BC PNP latest draw, you will have 30 days to submit a complete application for permanent residency (PR) - along with the supporting documents.

BC PNP Latest Draw - Results

The BC PNP latest draw was held on July 16, 2024. A total of 72 candidates with work experience in in-demand occupations were invited. Invited candidates required a minimum score of 80 to be eligible for an invitation.

If you did not get invited

If you did not receive an invitation in this draw, your profile will remain active in the pool of candidates. You may receive an invitation in the next BC PNP draw. BC conducts a new draw every week - usually on a Wednesday. The next BC PNP draw is expected to be conducted on July 23, 2024.

Selection Criteria

Targeted invitations to apply to the Skills Immigration draws may be based on one or more of the following factors:

  • Education - level and field of education and where it was completed
  • Eligible professional designations in B.C.
  • Language skills
  • Occupation
  • Duration and skill level of work experience
  • Wage and/or skill level of job offer
  • Intent to live, work and settle in a specific region
  • Strategic priorities - factors that address specific labour market needs in B.C. or support government pilot projects and initiatives

This was the third British Columbia PNP draw held in July. The province conducts 3-4 draws every month. Last month, BC invited a total of 277 candidates to apply for PR across four Skills Immigration draws.

BC PNP’s Skills Immigration Draws

Managed under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP), Skills Immigration draws are a way for British Columbia to invite skilled workers, international graduates, and entrepreneurs to apply for permanent residence in Canada.

These draws are held regularly and target specific categories such as skilled workers, healthcare professionals, and tech workers. During a draw, the province selects candidates from a pool based on factors like their job offers, work experience, and skills. Selected candidates receive an invitation to apply for nomination, which they can use to apply for permanent residency.

The BC PNP Skills Immigration Draws help the province meet its labour market needs and support economic growth by attracting skilled talent from around the world.
