The province of British Columbia plays a key role in supporting and sustaining the Canadian economy. BC does so with the help of its renowned immigration intake program – the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP).
The BC PNP is a point-based system designed to provide a direct pathway to skilled and unskilled immigrants from across the globe – a direct pathway to study, work and settle in British Columbia.
There are two broad categories currently being managed under the BC PNP:
Candidates are ranked based on the information provided to them while creating a BC PNP profile. The highest-scoring candidates are invited to apply to the BC PNP.
British Columbia holds a draw on a weekly basis. The size and frequency of the next BC PNP draw selection are determined by the province’s application backlog at that time. The dates of the next draw are not posted before they take place.
Candidates in the BC PNP pool, with high scores – have more chances of earning an ITA.
