Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted a new Express Entry draw. This was the twelfth invitation round conducted by the department in 2024.
The Express Entry latest draw held on March 25, 2024, saw invitations being issued to 1,980 candidates across a General draw. Invited candidates required a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 524 to be eligible.
Type of draw: General
If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off will be based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles. If you’ve been invited in this Express Entry draw, you will now have 60 days to submit a complete application to apply for Canada PR visa to the IRCC.
This was the third Express Entry draw conducted by IRCC in March.

Whereas, category-based invitation rounds target candidates from the six categories finalized by IRCC for Express Entry draws.
This was a surprise invitation round conducted by IRCC. Express Entry draws are usually conducted every two weeks, usually on a Wednesday.
The number of ITAs, minimum CRS score, and draw-type are determined by the IRCC. This varies depending on factors including, the Canadian economy, labour market, and the immigration targets set in the Canada Immigration Level Plans 2024-2026.
The next Express Entry draw is expected to be conducted on March 27, 2024.
