Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted a new all-program Express Entry draw.
Being an all-program draw, candidates from the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), and Canadian Experience Class (CEC) were targeted to this latest Express Entry draw.
The Express Entry latest draw held on September 19, 2023, saw invitations being issued to a total of 3,200 candidates present in the pool. Invited candidates required a minimum CRS score of 531 - to be eligible for this invitation round.
Check eligibility to apply for Express Entry
If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.
This was Canada's first Express Entry draw in over a month. There were more Express Entry draws this summer than in previous years due to the introduction of category-based selection rounds of invitations. However, until today a draw has not taken place since the most recent all-program draw on August 15 in which 4,300 candidates received ITAs.
There is no one-size-fits-all type of profile that is eligible for a Canada PR in an All-program Express Entry draw.
Candidates applying under any of the Express Entry linked Canada PR pathways are ranked using the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). Factors that influence your CRS score include Age, Language Proficiency, Education, Work Experience, Spousal Sponsorship, Provincial Nomination, Siblings in Canada, and Adaptability.
Those with the highest scores in the CRS points calculator are more likely to receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canadian permanent residency.
Draw | Date | Number of invitations | Minimum CRS points |
262 | August 15 | 4300 | 496 |
261 | August 03 | 1500 | 388 |
260 | August 02 | 800 | 435 |
259 | August 01 | 2000 | 517 |
