Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted another Express Entry draw. Just yesterday, IRCC issued 1,280 invitations to candidates across an all-program Express Entry draw. Usually, Express Entry draws are held bi-weekly - on a Wednesday.
The Express Entry latest draw was held on April 11, 2024. A total of 4,500 candidates with work experience in STEM Occupations were invited across a category-based Express Entry draw. Candidates required a CRS score of 491 to be eligible.
Type of draw: STEM Occupations
If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the CRS score cut-off will be based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.
Candidates invited in this draw will now have 60 days to submit a complete application to apply for Canada PR to the IRCC. On the other hand, candidates who did not get invited will remain in the pool of candidates. They can expect to receive an invitation in the next Express Entry draw.
Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Occupations emerged as pillars of Canada's evolving economy. At the end of 2023 Q4, the Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services category had 56,915 job vacancies in Canada. Provinces like Ontario, Quebec, and British Columbia had the greatest demand for professionals in these fields - showcasing their progressive and innovation-driven industries.
