Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted a new draw. This was the fourth invitation round conducted by the department in March. Including this Express Entry draw, IRCC has invited 13,261 candidates in March alone.
If you have been invited to this Express Entry latest draw, you will have 60 days to submit a complete application for permanent residence (PR) to the IRCC. If this timeframe passes, your Invitation to Apply (ITA) will no longer be valid.
The Express Entry latest draw was held on March 21, 2025. A total of 7,500 ITAs were issued to candidates across a French Language Proficiency category-based draw. Invited candidates required a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 379 to be eligible.
If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles. However, if you haven’t received an ITA in the Express Entry latest draw, don’t withdraw your application - you may still be invited in upcoming draws.
To be eligible under the French Language Proficiency category, candidates must:
Compared to the other Express Entry selection categories, French Language Proficiency stands out as the only one that does not prioritize work experience for issuing an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Canada PR. Express Entry draws are held almost every week, with some exceptions.
Draw No. | Date | Draw Type | No. of ITAs | Minimum CRS |
#339 | March 17 | Provincial Nominee Program | 536 | 736 |
#339 | March 06 | French Language Proficiency | 4,500 | 410 |
#338 | March 03 | Provincial Nominee Program | 725 | 667 |
This was the eleventh draw conducted by IRCC under the Express Entry Program in 2025. So far, these Express Entry draws have resulted in 30,683 invitations, indicating a strong preference for PNP and French-speaking candidates, with moderate opportunities for CEC applicants.
IRCC has also introduced key updates to the Express Entry categories. A new Education category has been added, while the Transport category has been removed. Additionally, several social service occupations have been consolidated into the Healthcare category.
