The next BC PNP draw is expected to be conducted on October 08, 2024.
The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) Skills Immigration Draws are an essential pathway designed for skilled workers to obtain permanent residency in Canada. These draws happen regularly and invite candidates with specific skills and experience to apply for nomination by the province of British Columbia.
To participate, candidates must first register with the BC PNP and create a profile showcasing their qualifications, work experience, and language abilities. The BC PNP then uses a points-based system (BC PNP points calculator) to rank applicants, considering factors such as job offer, education, and skills. During the draws, the province issues invitations to those with the highest scores, allowing them to apply for a provincial nomination.
The BC PNP Skills Immigration category is particularly focused on attracting talent in high-demand occupations, including technology, healthcare, and skilled trades. This program not only helps fill labour shortages in British Columbia but also supports newcomers in establishing their careers and lives in Canada.
