Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted a new Express Entry draw today.
The Express Entry latest draw conducted on September 28, 2023, saw invitations being issued to a total of 600 candidates in a targeted category-based Express Entry draw for candidates in Agriculture and Agri-food Occupations. Invited candidates required a minimum CRS score of 354 - to be eligible for this invitation round.
This was the first invitation round conducted by IRCC for Agriculture and Agri-food Occupations candidates.

If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles. Invitations to apply to the Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program, Canadian Experience Class, and Provincial Nominee Programs may be issued through this round of invitations.

On May 31, 2023, IRCC finalized six new selection categories for Express Entry draws. Besides the Agriculture and Agri-food Occupations category, other newly launched categories include Healthcare occupations, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) occupations, Trades occupations, Transport occupations, and Strong French language proficiency.
