Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has conducted a new Express Entry draw. This was the first invitation round conducted by the department in March. So far, IRCC has conducted eight Express Entry draws in 2025.
If you have been invited to the latest Express Entry draw, you will have 60 days to submit a complete application for permanent residence (PR) to the IRCC. If this timeframe passes, your Invitation to Apply (ITA) will not be valid.
The latest Express Entry draw was held on March 03, 2024. ITAs were issued to 725 candidates across a PNP-specific draw. Invited candidates required a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 667 to be eligible for an invitation.
Draw No: 338
Type of Draw: Provincial Nominee Program
If more than one candidate has the lowest score, the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles.
This was the eighth Express Entry draw conducted by IRCC in 2025. Including the latest Express Entry draw, the department has so far invited 18,147 candidates to apply for Canada PR.

Express Entry PNP-specific draws are a part of Canada's immigration system that helps provinces and territories select candidates for permanent residence (PR) through the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). Each province has its own set of requirements and categories for inviting applicants. These draws allow provinces to select candidates who meet their labor market needs, making it easier for them to get a provincial nomination.
To be eligible for these draws, you need to create a profile in the Express Entry system and be eligible for one of the federal immigration programs like the Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program, or Canadian Experience Class. Once your profile is in the system, provinces can invite you to apply for a provincial nomination if your skills match the province's requirements.
A PNP nomination gives you an additional 600 points in the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS), which virtually guarantees an invitation to apply (ITA) for PR in the next Express Entry draw. Currently, Express Entry draws are being conducted on a bi-weekly basis, and 80% of the applications are processed within 6 to 8 months.
