Manitoba conducted a new Expression of Interest (EOI) draw on September 8 – issuing 278 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to candidates under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).
The September 8 EOI draw saw LAAs being issued to candidates under three MPNP streams:
Out of the total 278 Letters of Advice issued in the September 8 draw – 76 LAAs were issued to candidates showcasing a valid Express Entry ID and Job Seeker validation code.

Candidates in the September 8 Manitoba EOI draw were considered if they were directly invited under Manitoba’s Strategic Recruitment initiative or had a valid Express Entry ID and Job Seeker validation code. Such candidates were only eligible to receive a nomination if their Express Entry profile was valid at the time of the application assessment.

Also, candidates working under a regulated in-demand occupation in Manitoba who are fully licensed to work in the province – have been invited to this draw.
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) was established to support & sustain the province’s economy and labor market shortages.
Candidates wanting to apply for a provincial nomination under the MPNP – have five options to choose from:
Candidates applying under any of the above-mentioned streams are required to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to the MPNP. Eligible candidates are placed in the Manitoba pool, where the highest-scoring candidates are issued a Letter of Advice to apply in an EOI draw.
The size and frequency of a Manitoba EOI draw will be determined by the needs of the MPNP application inventory. Selections will take place on a monthly basis, with some exceptions. The dates of the selections will not be posted before they take place.
