Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) has conducted its first Expression of Interest (EOI) draw on January 18, 2024. This was the first PEI PNP draw of 2024.
In 2023, Prince Edward Island PNP issued a total of 2,422 invitations across 22 draws. The back-to-back EOI draws serve as a testament to PEI’s commitment to prioritising foreign skilled workers and businessmen with the necessary skills, qualifications, and potential to succeed in the province’s dynamic economy.
The PEI PNP latest draw held on January 18, 2024, issued a total of 136 invitations to Labour & Express Entry and Business Work Permit Entrepreneur candidates.

Invitations under the PEI Express Entry, Skilled Worker, and Critical Worker Streams in the latest PEI PNP draw were issued to individuals with a minimum point score of 65. Skilled Workers with at least two years of relevant experience in Semi-Skilled and Unskilled occupations may be eligible to apply for the Critical Worker Stream.
Over the last 12 months, the Prince Edward Island PNP has issued a total of 2,335 invitations to Labour & Express Entry candidates and 59 invitations to Business Work Permit Entrepreneur candidates.
The PEI EOI system gathers important information about candidates in the pool to rank and select those who are most likely to meet Prince Edward Island’s economic and labour market needs, based on one or more of the following attributes:
Prince Edward Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) invites candidates through an Expression of Interest (EOI) system. The PEI PNP regularly conducts draws to invite the highest-scoring candidates to apply for provincial nomination. The draws typically take place once a month or as mentioned in the Prince Edward Island PNP draw schedule for 2024.
PEI PNP's Critical Worker Stream offers a direct route to apply for Canada PR visa - for certain workers who may not be eligible to pursue immigration through the Express Entry system.
