This draw stands out as it boasts over double the number of ITAs compared to the previous draw on August 1st, indicating a positive trend in Canadian immigration. Additionally, the significant decrease in the CRS score by 21 points offers a great opportunity for many skilled individuals.
Interestingly, out of the last 10 draws, including category-specific ones since June 28th, this draw takes the lead with the highest number of invitations issued. A big step forward for 4,300 applicants on their journey towards Canadian Permanent Residency through Express Entry.
Notably, this draw did not specify a particular program, making it open to candidates from the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Canadian Experience Class (CEC), Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), and Provincial Nominee Program.
In a recent announcement Canada Immigration Minister Sean Fraser announced that IRCC has zeroed down to mainly six new selection categories for Express Entry draws. The groups were selected after looking at the possible labor market projections in the future and taking advice from numerous Partners, Stakeholders, Provincial, as well as Territorial governments.
Express Entry draws shall be concentrated on applicants who have a proficient French language proficiency or work experience in these areas namely:
With the new category-based selection draws, and IRCC conducting back-to-back draws with higher ITAs & low CRSs - now is indeed the best time to immigrate to Canada.
