Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) has conducted a new draw. This was the first invitation round conducted by the province in March. The previous Manitoba PNP draw was held on February 20. The province usually conducts 1 to 2 draws every month.

If you’ve been invited to this latest Manitoba PNP draw, you will have 60 days to submit a complete application for permanent residence to the MPNP. If this timeframe passes, your invitation or Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA) will no longer be valid.

Immigrating through the Manitoba PNP

Manitoba conducts regular draws under its Expression of Interest (EOI) system to invite candidates in the EOI pool to submit a full application to the MPNP. Submitting an EOI is your first step to immigrating to Manitoba through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).

Based on the information provided in the EOI, you are assigned points across six factors:

FactorMaximum Ranking Points
Language Proficiency 125
Age 75
Work Experience 175
Education 125
Adaptability500
Risk Assessment
- 200

Each Manitoba PNP draw selects the highest-scoring candidates from the EOI pool to receive a Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA), which is an invitation to submit a complete application for immigration through the Manitoba PNP. The higher your score in the Manitoba PNP points calculator, the more your chances of receiving an invitation in the next draw. The number of LAAs issued in each draw depends on the annual processing targets and capacity.

Documents Required

  • Passport
  • Educational credentials (degrees, transcripts)
  • Proof of language proficiency (IELTS, CELPIP)
  • Job offer letter (if applicable)
  • Work experience proof (employment contracts, reference letters)

The MPNP has a non-refundable $500 application that you pay at the time of submitting your permanent residence application. You will be notified whether your transaction is approved or not.
