Quebec’s Minister of Immigration, Francization and Integration (MIFI) has conducted its first draw of September. The department issued invitations to candidates across a Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP) draw.

The decision to invite candidates to apply for permanent residence in the latest Quebec draw was made based on the invitation criteria set by Quebec’s Minister of Immigration, Francization and Integration (MIFI).

Latest Quebec Draw - Results

The latest Quebec draw held on September 05, 2024, saw invitations being issued to 1,417 candidates under the Regular Skilled Worker Program (RSWP). The date and time of extraction from the Arrima bank was September 3, 2024, at 6:25 a.m.

The invitations were issued to candidates that met the following criteria:

• They had a level 7 oral proficiency (or higher) in French according to the Échelle québécoise des niveaux de compétence en français or its equivalent.
• They had a score equal to or greater than 575 points.

Invitations were also issued to candidates that met the following criteria:

• They had a level 7 oral proficiency (or higher) in French according to the Échelle québécoise des niveaux de compétence en français or its equivalent.
• They had a valid job offer outside the territory of Communauté métropolitaine de Montréal.

If you have been invited

If you have been invited in this latest Quebec draw, you will receive a communication in your Arrima message centre with the information needed to submit a complete application for permanent residence (PR). Make sure to provide accurate information in your application, as failing to do so may result in your application being refused or rejected.

You have a maximum of 60 days to submit the application and pay the processing fees. Once this timeframe passes, your profile will no longer be valid.

• Principal applicant: $895
• Spouse or common-law partner: $192
• Each dependent child: $192

Processing of your PR application

The processing of your permanent residence (PR) application starts when you have:

• Completed and signed the PR application form,
• Submitted the form in the dedicated timeframe,
• Provided the requested supporting documents, and
• Paid the processing fee for your application.

Currently, 80% of applications under the Quebec RSWP are being processed within 8 to 10 months.
