What is Saskatchewan Skilled Worker Expression of Interest?

An EOI for International Skilled Workers is not the same as a SINP application. You can submit a pre-application online to demonstrate your qualifications and express your interest in applying to the SINP. The data requested is used to determine your eligibility. Your submission's acceptance into the International Skilled Worker EOI system is determined by this.

The International Skilled Worker EOI system is used to choose applicants who possess the abilities required by Saskatchewan's employment market. These consist of familial ties to the province, professional experience, and language proficiency. The recipients of the system's selections receive an "Invitation to Apply" for Canada's permanent residence.

Not every applicant who submits an EOI for an International Skilled Worker will be given the opportunity to apply for the SINP. Candidates may submit as many EOIs as they like, but each candidate may only have one EOI profile.

How candidates in the SINP EOI pool are ranked?

The SINP states that it will perform the following actions when ranking applicants in the EOI pool:

  •  Choose EOI applicants with the highest CRS score.
  •  The SINP will give candidates with ties to the province the most priority when choosing between candidates with equal scores. This includes candidates who gain points for having a close relative who resides in Saskatchewan, for having previously worked there, or for having previously studied there.
  • The province will then give priority to applicants who have reported the most years of job experience and the highest language test scores.

Candidates who get an invitation to apply from the SINP have 60 days to complete an online application and submit all necessary supporting paperwork for the information stated in their EOI profile.

Applicants will be required to pay a non-refundable application fee after receiving an invitation to apply to either the Saskatchewan Occupation In-Demand list or Saskatchewan Express Entry sub-category.
