On May 18, 2023, Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) conducted a new draw under its Expression of Interest (EOI) system. A total of 526 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) were issued to candidates in the EOI pool.
This latest Manitoba PNP draw invited candidates from all of the three MPNP streams i.e., Skilled Workers in Manitoba, International Education Stream, and Skilled Worker Overseas.
Occupation-specific selection
Profiles declaring current employment in Manitoba, in occupations identified with high labor needs were considered.
The occupations under the following National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2021 major groups were considered in this draw:
All occupations
All profiles that were not selected in the occupation-specific selection were considered.
Profiles that declared meeting International Education Stream eligibility requirements.
Profiles that declared being directly invited by the MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
Of the 526 LAAs issued in this draw, 225 were issued to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.

- They have indicated that they have taken an authorized language proficiency test in English/French - but have not provided a valid “Test Number” or
- They have indicated that they have received an Invitation to Apply (ITA) under a Strategic Initiative - but did not provide a valid “Invitation Number”.
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) issues ITAs to eligible candidates on a monthly basis, with some exceptions. The frequency, size, and date of the next Manitoba PNP draw - are determined by the needs of the MPNP application inventory.
