Occupation-specific selection
Profiles declaring current employment in Manitoba, in occupations identified with high labor needs were considered.
The occupations under the following National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2021 major groups were considered in this draw:
All occupations
All profiles that were not selected in the occupation-specific selection were considered.
Profiles that declared meeting International Education Stream eligibility requirements.
Profiles that declared being directly invited by the MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
Of the 615 Letters of Advice to Apply issued in this draw, 43 were issued to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.
The Skilled Worker route, which includes both “Skilled Worker Overseas” and "Skilled Workers in Manitoba” streams, is locally driven and based on the needs of Manitoba employers. Through this stream, MPNP selects internationally trained and experienced workers who possess the skills required in the local labor market - and nominates them to get Canada PR visas to settle and work in the province.
Whereas, the International Education Stream (IES) provides international students graduating from designated Manitoba post-secondary institutions a faster pathway to nomination. There are three pathways which are the Career Employment Pathway, the Graduate Internship Pathway, and the International Student Entrepreneur Pilot (ISEP).
The Manitoba PNP invites the highest-scoring candidates in the pool to submit a full application to the MPNP on a regular basis. MPNP draws are usually held on a bi-weekly basis - with some exceptions. The frequency, size, and date of the next draws are determined by the needs of the MPNP application inventory.
