The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) has conducted a new draw. This was the third Expression of Interest (EOI) draw conducted by the province in August.
Manitoba conducts regular draws under its EOI system to invite candidates from the pool to submit a complete application for permanent residence to the MPNP. If you have been invited in this Manitoba PNP latest draw, you will have 60 days to submit the PR application along with the supporting documents. If this timeframe passes, your invitation will no longer be valid.
The Manitoba PNP latest draw was held on August 30, 2024. A total of 150 candidates from MPNP’s International Education Stream and Skilled Worker Overseas streams were invited.
International Education Stream
Profiles that declared meeting International Education Stream eligibility requirements.
Skilled Worker Overseas
Profiles that declared being directly invited by the MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
Of the 150 invitations issued in this draw, 21 were issued to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.

The Manitoba Expression of Interest (EOI) draw is a part of Manitoba's immigration system designed to attract skilled workers, graduates, and entrepreneurs to the province. This process is part of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP), where candidates submit an Expression of Interest, indicating their desire to live and work in Manitoba.
During the EOI draw, candidates are selected based on a scoring system. Points are awarded for factors such as age, education, work experience, language proficiency, and connections to Manitoba. The highest-scoring candidates in the “Manitoba PNP Points Calculator” are invited to apply for a provincial nomination, which can lead to permanent residence in Canada.
Manitoba regularly holds these draws, and the minimum score required to receive an invitation varies with each draw, depending on the number of applicants and their qualifications.
This system helps Manitoba meet its labour market needs by selecting individuals with the skills and experience needed in the province. Successful nominees are then able to apply for permanent residence through the federal government, bringing them one step closer to living and working in Manitoba.
