The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) has conducted a new draw under its Expression of Interest (EOI) system. This was the second Manitoba PNP draw conducted under the MPNP in July.

Manitoba conducts regular draws under its EOI system to select and invite candidates in the EOI pool to submit a full application to the MPNP.

Manitoba PNP’s EOI System

Submitting an EOI is the first step to immigration to Manitoba under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). An EOI is not an application, but an online profile. All candidates interested in moving to Manitoba must submit an EOI.

When creating an EOI, you will be asked a complete series of questions. Once done, you will receive EOI ranking points based on your answers.

EOI’s Ranking System

The EOI ranking system allocates points based on six factors:

  • Age (Maximum points: 75)
  • Language Proficiency (Maximum points: 125)
  • Education (Maximum points: 125)
  • Work Experience (Maximum points: 175)
  • Adaptability (Maximum points: 500)
  • Risk (Maximum points: -200)

Your profile is then entered into a pool of eligible candidates. The MPNP then invites the highest-scoring candidates in the pool to submit a complete application for permanent residence through frequent Manitoba PNP draws.

There are no limits on the number of candidates who can submit an EOI - and no deadline.

On average, 80% of applications under the MPNP are processed within 8-10 months.
