Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) draws are an essential part of Manitoba’s immigration system, helping the province select skilled workers who can contribute to its economy and settle in local communities. Through these draws, Manitoba invites candidates from various streams, such as
To participate, candidates must first submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to the MPNP, where they are scored based on factors like education, work experience, language proficiency, and connections to Manitoba. Regular draws are held, where candidates with the highest scores are invited to apply for a provincial nomination.
A provincial nomination from Manitoba adds 600 points to a candidate’s Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score in Canada’s Express Entry system, significantly increasing their chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for permanent residency.
MPNP draws are a vital pathway for skilled workers, international graduates, and overseas candidates with ties to Manitoba, offering them the opportunity to build a successful future in the province. These draws allow Manitoba to address labour market needs and support its economic growth by attracting qualified talent from around the world.
Currently, 80% of applications under the Manitoba PNP are being processed within 8-10 months.
