Manitoba has conducted a new draw under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). This was the first invitation round conducted by the province in November.
If you have been invited to this Manitoba PNP latest draw, you will have 60 days to submit a complete application for permanent residence (PR) to the MPNP. If this timeframe passes, your Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA or invitation) will no longer be valid.
The Manitoba PNP latest draw held on November 08, 2024, saw invitations being issued to 274 candidates under all the MPNP streams. Of the 274 invitations issued in this draw, 33 were issued to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.
Skilled Worker in Manitoba
Profiles declaring current employment in Manitoba in the unit group listed below were considered.
The following National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2021 unit group was considered in this draw:
International Education Stream
Profiles that declared meeting International Education Stream eligibility requirements.
Skilled Worker Overseas
Profiles that declared being directly invited by the MPNP under a strategic recruitment initiative.
If you were not invited, your profile will remain active in the application pool - for 12 months from the submission date. Manitoba conducts 2-3 draws every month. You may receive an invitation in the next Manitoba PNP draw.
Submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) is the first step to immigrating to Manitoba under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). When creating an EOI, you must complete a series of questions and receive EOI ranking points based on the provided answers.
EOI Ranking System
The EOI ranking system allocates points based on six factors:
Your profile is then entered into the pool of eligible candidates. The MPNP then invites the highest-scoring candidates in the pool to submit a full application to the MPNP. If you are invited, you can use the same login information you created for your EOI to complete your full application. There are no limits to the number of candidates who can submit an EOI - and no deadline.
Currently, 80% of applications under the MPNP are being processed within 8 to 10 months.
