The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (Manitoba PNP or MPNP) has conducted a new draw. This was the second invitation round conducted by the province in December. The previous Manitoba PNP draw was held on December 18, 2024.
If you have been invited to this Manitoba PNP latest draw, you will have 60 days to submit a complete application for permanent residence (PR) to the MPNP. If this timeframe passes, your invitation or Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA) will no longer be valid.
The Manitoba PNP latest draw held on December 27, 2024, saw invitations being issued to 276 candidates under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba (SWM) stream. Of the 276 invitations in this draw, 56 were issued to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.

Managed under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program, the Skilled Worker Streams is locally driven and based on the needs of Manitoba employers. There are two streams:
The Skilled Worker in Manitoba (SWM) stream selects candidates with a strong connection to Manitoba through ongoing employment and sufficient skills, education, training, work experience and language proficiency.
Ongoing employment means that you have a valid work permit and a Manitoba company has offered you a full-time job. If you can obtain a temporary work permit from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), you may apply to the MPNP as a temporary worker.
On the other hand, the Skilled Worker Overseas (SWO) stream nominates applicants who demonstrate an established connection to Manitoba through the support of family members or friends, previous education or work experience in the province or an Invitation to Apply (ITA) received directly from the MPNP as part of a Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
Currently, 80% of applications under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program are being processed within 8 to 10 months.
