The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) conducts regular draws to invite candidates for permanent residency. These draws are designed to select skilled workers, international graduates, and entrepreneurs who can contribute to Manitoba’s economy and communities. The program is divided into three main streams:
Each draw focuses on inviting candidates who meet the program's specific criteria, such as having a valid job offer, strong ties to Manitoba, or having studied there. Points are awarded based on factors like age, education, work experience, language skills, and connections to Manitoba. Candidates with the highest scores are invited to apply for a nomination.
Draws typically occur every few weeks and invite several hundred candidates each time. The exact cut-off scores and the number of invitations vary with each draw. Those who receive a Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA) can submit their application to the PNP for consideration.
Once nominated, candidates can apply for Canada PR with the Canadian government. Manitoba PNP draws are an excellent opportunity for skilled individuals to make Manitoba their home, offering a straightforward pathway to settle in the province and build a secure future.
Currently, 80% of the applications under the MPNP are being processed within 8 to 10 months.
