Manitoba has conducted a new draw.
This was the second invitation round conducted by the province under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). This draw came after a pause. The previous Manitoba PNP draw was held on April 09, 2024. Usually, Manitoba PNP draws are held on a bi-weekly basis.
The Manitoba PNP latest draw held on April 24, 2024, invited 327 candidates under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba, International Education Stream and Skilled Worker Overseas categories.
Skilled Worker in Manitoba (Completed post-secondary study in Manitoba): Profiles declaring that the applicant or their spouse have completed post-secondary education in Manitoba were considered.
International Education Stream: Profiles that declared meeting International Education Stream eligibility requirements and declared at least 4 years of work experience in the past five years were considered.
Skilled Worker Overseas: Profiles that declared being directly invited by the MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
Of the 327 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) issued in this draw, 68 were issued to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.
Submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI) is the first step to immigrating to Manitoba through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP). To submit an EOI, you must create an account on the MPNP Online portal.
The information you provide in your EOI will determine if you are eligible to immigrate through the MPNP. There are no limits on the number of candidates who can submit an EOI.
Once you’ve submitted an EOI, you will be entered into a pool of all eligible candidates. Here, the MPNP ranks your profile using several factors including Age, Language Proficiency, Education, Work Experience, Adaptability, and Risk. The highest-scoring candidates are then invited to submit a complete application for permanent residency to the MPNP.
The number of LAAs issued in each draw is dependent on annual processing targets and capacities. On average, 80% of applications under the MPNP are processed within 8-10 months.
