The province of Manitoba has conducted a new invitation round in May, inviting skilled workers and international graduates. The last Manitoba PNP draw was conducted on May 9, 2024.
The latest Manitoba PNP draw held on May 23, 2024, saw invitations being issued to 253 candidates under all three MPNP streams: the Skilled Workers in Manitoba, International Education Stream, and Skilled Worker Overseas with a CRS score range between 688 and 782.
Close relative in Manitoba selection
Profiles declaring a Manitoba Supporter who is a close relative, is a Canadian permanent resident or citizen, is a recognized resident of Manitoba and has been living in Manitoba for a minimum of one year were considered.
Profiles that declared meeting International Education Stream eligibility requirements.
Profiles that declared being directly invited by the MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
Of the 253 Letters of Advice to Apply issued in this draw, 29 were issued to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) Expression of Interest (EOI) system is an immigration pathway for individuals to apply for the program to live and work in Manitoba. Here is how the EOI system works:
Create an EOI profile: Candidates must create a profile online in the Manitoba PNP system. Add information about their age, education, work experience, language proficiency, and other relevant details.
Scoring System: Candidates will be assigned a score based on the details provided in the profile. The higher their score is, the better their chances of receiving an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for a provincial nomination.
Draws: Manitoba conducts draws on a regular basis to invite candidates with the highest scores to apply for a nomination. Those who receive an invitation can apply to the Manitoba PNP.
Nomination: If the application is successful, the province of Manitoba may nominate you to the federal government, which will decide whether to grant permanent residence.
Note that certain requirements and scoring criteria can vary over time and may be adjusted based on the changing needs of Manitoba. Generally, candidates with higher scores and those who possess skills or work experience in professions listed on the Manitoba In-demand Occupation List have a greater chance of receiving an invitation to apply for Canada PR.
