The Manitoba PNP latest draw invited 275 candidates from all three MPNP streams i.e., Skilled Worker in Manitoba, International Education Stream, and Skilled Worker Overseas.

This was the second invitation round by Manitoba in January. The previous draw was held on 11 January, which invited 423 candidates from the Expression of Interest (EOI)  pool.

Manitoba PNP Latest Draw: Results

Skilled Worker in Manitoba (Completed Post-Secondary Study in Manitoba)

Profiles declaring that they or their spouse have completed post-secondary education in Manitoba were considered.

  • Number of Letters of Advice to Apply issued: 156
  • Ranking score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 772

Candidates chosen for this stream must show valid proof that either they or their spouse have finished a post-secondary education program in Manitoba. If neither you nor your spouse have completed such a program in Manitoba - you may consider not accepting your Letter of Advice to Apply.

International Education Stream

Profiles that declared meeting International Education Stream eligibility requirements.

  • Number of Letters of Advice to Apply issued: 78

The International Education Stream offers a quicker route to nomination for international students who have graduated from selected post-secondary institutions in Manitoba. There are three pathways within this stream: the Career Employment Pathway, the Graduate Internship Pathway, and the International Student Entrepreneur Pilot (ISEP). It's important to note that international students who graduated from institutions in other provinces of Canada are not eligible for this stream.

Skilled Worker Overseas

Profiles that declared being directly invited by the MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative.

  • Number of Letters of Advice to Apply issued: 41
  • Ranking score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 713

EOIs from Skilled Worker Overseas candidates have only been considered if they were directly invited by the MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative or have a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.

Of the 275 invitations issued in this draw, 29 were given to candidates who declared a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.

In 2023, Manitoba PNP invited a total of 15,805 candidates across 30 draws. Manitoba PNP has been conducting 3-4 draws almost every month in 2023. The same trend is expected to be carried on for 2024 as well.

How to immigrate to Manitoba in 2024?

To get nominated in a Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) draw, you need to follow certain steps.

First, make sure you meet the eligibility criteria for the MPNP stream you're interested in. Each stream has its own set of requirements based on work experience, education, language proficiency, and other factors.

Once you’ve figured that out, create an online profile to submit your Expression of Interest (EOI) to the MPNP. In your EOI, make sure to provide accurate information about your skills, work experience, and other relevant details, as it will be used to assign a score - and rank your profile in the EOI pool of candidates. Those with the highest scores are invited.

After submitting, wait for an invitation in the upcoming Manitoba draw. If you receive one, submit a complete application for provincial nomination within the specified time frame. Make sure to include all required supporting documents as requested.  After submitting your application, wait for the Manitoba government to review it. If approved, you'll receive a provincial nomination - which you can then use to apply for a permanent residency visa with the federal government.

It is important to note that the specific requirements and scoring criteria can vary over time and may be adjusted based on the changing needs of the province. Generally, candidates with higher scores and those who possess skills or work experience in professions listed on the Manitoba In-demand Occupation List have a greater chance of receiving an invitation to apply for Canada PR visa.

MPNP draws are usually held every week - with some exceptions. The needs of the MPNP application inventory determine the frequency, size, and date of the next draws. The current processing time to immigrate to Canada under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program is 8 to 12 months.
