The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) has conducted a new draw. This was the second invitation round conducted by the province in December. The previous BC PNP draw was held on December 03, 2024.

If you have been invited to this latest BC PNP draw, you will have 30 days to submit a complete application for permanent residence to the BC PNP. If this timeframe passes, your Invitation to Apply (ITA) will no longer be valid.

Latest BC PNP Draw - Results

The latest BC PNP draw held on December 10, 2024, issued 26 ITAs to candidates across a Skills Immigration draw. Invited candidates required a minimum score of 80 - to be eligible for an invitation.

If you did not get invited

Do not withdraw your application if you did not receive an invitation in this latest BC PNP draw. Your registration is valid for twelve months from the date of submission. You may be invited in the next BC PNP draw. BC PNP draws are conducted every week, typically on a Tuesday.

The next BC PNP draw will be conducted on December 17, 2024.

BC PNP - Selection Criteria

Invitations in this Skills Immigration draw are issued based on the following selection factors as defined in the BC PNP points calculator:

  • Education - level and field of education and where it was completed
  • Eligible professional designations in B.C.
  • Language skills
  • Occupation
  • Duration and skill level of work experience
  • Wage and/or skill level of job offer
  • Intent to live, work and settle in a specific region
  • Strategic priorities - factors that address specific labour market needs in B.C. or support government pilot projects and initiatives

A high score in the BC PNP points calculator increases your chances of getting an invitation. If you’re invited you will receive a provincial nomination, which you can then use to apply for Canada PR through the federal Express Entry system.

Draws under the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) are designed to attract foreign talent with the skills, qualifications, and experience needed to support the province’s labour market and economic growth. Currently, 80% of the applications under the BC PNP are being processed within 9 to 12 months.
