On February 10, 2023, Ontario conducted back-to-back invitation rounds for candidates under its Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) and Ontario’s Express Entry managed streams.

A total of 771 candidates were issued invitations to this latest Ontario PNP draw.

Who was invited?

Ontario Express Entry draw

A total of 466 candidates from the Skilled Trades Stream were issued Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to the February 10 Ontario draw. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score required in this targeted draw was 260-489. 

Candidates only received an invitation if they had active profiles created in IRCC’s Express Entry system between February 10, 2022, and February 10, 2023, and met the CRS score range of 260-489. Invited candidates were also required to have work experience in the National Occupational Codes (NOC) below:

NOC 72010 - Contractors and supervisors, machining, metal forming, shaping and erecting trades and related occupations

NOC 72011 - Contractors and supervisors, electrical trades, and telecommunications occupations

NOC 72012 - Contractors and supervisors, pipefitting trades

Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) draw

A total of 305 candidates from the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Workers stream were issued Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to the February 10 Ontario draw.

Candidates only received an invitation if they had active profiles created between November 22, 2022, and February 10, 2023. Invited candidates were from two of the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream categories.

CATEGORY 1:

304 Invitations to Apply (ITA) were issued to candidates in a targeted draw for Tech and Health occupations. The minimum score required in this targeted draw was 30 and above. Invited candidates were also required to have work experience in the National Occupational Codes (NOC) below:

NOC 22221 - User support technicians

NOC 22222 - Information systems testing technicians

CATEGORY 2:

1 Invitation to Apply (ITA) was issued to a candidate in a targeted draw for the Economic Mobility Pathways Project. There was no minimum score range defined.

With Ontario conducting back-to-back invitation rounds with high invitations and low score requirements! Now is indeed the best time to apply for Canada PR! Ontario has so far issued 6,764 invitations to date in 2023.
