Ontario invited 160 French-speaking Express Entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination on December 13, 2022.

Invited candidates may be eligible to immigrate to Canada under Ontario’s Express Entry French-speaking Skilled Worker (FSSW) stream. Candidates needed to have an active profile in the Express Entry system with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score between 341 and 490.
Invited candidates also had work experience in the following National Occupation Classification (NOC) codes:
41220 - Secondary school teachers
41221 - Elementary school and kindergarten teachers
43100 - Elementary and secondary school teacher assistants
41200 - University professors and lecturers
63202 - Bakers
63201 - Butchers - retail and wholesale
72100 - Machinists and machining and tooling inspectors
72106 - Welders and related machine operators
72400 - Construction millwrights and industrial mechanics
72024 - Supervisors, motor transport, and other ground transit operators
73112 - Painters and decorators (except interior decorators)
72310 - Carpenters
72204 - Telecommunications line and cable installers and repairers
72311 - Cabinetmakers
72410 - Automotive service technicians, truck and bus mechanics, and mechanical repairers
72205 - Telecommunications equipment installation and cable television service technicians
72020 - Contractors and supervisors, mechanic trades
72101 - Tool and die makers
73110 - Roofers and shinglers
73102 - Plasterers, drywall installers and finishers, and lathers
72014 - Contractors and supervisors, other construction trades, installers, repairers, and services

Candidates that received a Notification of Interest (NOI) in the December 13th draw had to have an Express Entry profile created between December 13, 2021, and December 13, 2022.
Invited candidates now have 45 days to apply online for their provincial nomination.
This is the sixth FSSW draw of the year and it brings the total number of NOIs issued through this stream to 1,539 in 2022.
The French-Speaking Skilled Worker (FSSW) is an enhanced Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) stream aligned with Canada’s federal Express Entry system. Candidates who are successfully nominated under this human capital stream of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) - are invited to submit an official application to apply for Canada PR.
Candidates are required to have an active profile in one of the following two Express Entry programs:
The FSSW is by invitation only and foreign nationals cannot apply to the program directly. Candidates in the Express Entry pool are automatically considered for the program when they submit their Express Entry profile. Ontario will then send a Notification of Interest (NOI) to the Express Entry accounts of those candidates it invites to apply.
