How does the Ontario PNP work?

The Ontario Provincial Nominee Program (OINP) generally holds a draw on a monthly basis (with some exceptions) and issues ITAs to the highest-scoring candidates, allowing them to apply for Canadian permanent residence.

The OINP recognizes and nominates people for permanent residence who have the skills and experience the Ontario economy needs, and the Government of Canada makes the final decision to approve applications for permanent residence.
