Ontario PNP Express Entry draw invites from Skilled Trades Stream

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) frequently searches the federal Express Entry pool, to find candidates who may meet the eligibility requirements of one of Ontario PNP’s Express Entry immigration streams.

If the department identifies you from the candidate pool, you will receive an invitation to apply in your OINP e‑Filing Portal account. If you’ve been invited in this Ontario PNP latest draw, you will have 45 days to submit a complete application for permanent residency.

Ontario PNP Latest Draw - Results

The Ontario PNP latest draw held on July 11, 2024, saw invitations being issued to 1,277 candidates under the Skilled Trades Stream. Invited candidates required a minimum CRS score between 408 and 435 to be eligible for an invitation.

OINP Express Entry Skilled Trades Stream

Ontario’s Express Entry Skilled Trades Stream, part of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP), offers a pathway to permanent residency for foreign nationals with work experience in eligible skilled trades in Ontario. 

Eligibility Criteria

• Minimum 12 months of work experience in Ontario within the last 2 years. 
• Valid certificate or licence (if applicable).
• Current residence in Ontario and hold a Work Permit. 
• Minimum English or French at a Canadian Level Benchmark (CLB) level 5 or higher. 
• Proof of sufficient settlement funds. 
• Intention to live in Ontario. 

To apply, you need a valid profile in Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada’s (IRCC) Express Entry system and must receive a Notification of Interest from Ontario. Once you receive this notification, you can apply online for a nomination by the Ontario government for permanent residence.
