The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has conducted a new draw under its Express Entry linked streams. This was the first invitation round conducted by the province in September.

The Ontario PNP latest draw targeted candidates from OINP Express Entry’s French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream. If you’ve been invited in this draw, you will receive a notification of interest (NOI) in your Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) online account. After you have received an NOI, you may submit an online application for permanent residence to the OINP within 45 days.

Ontario PNP Latest Draw - Results

The Ontario PNP latest draw was held on September 05, 2024. A total of 86 candidates from OINP Express Entry’s French-Speaking Skilled Worker stream were invited. These candidates required a CRS score range between 290 and 393 to be eligible for an invitation.

OINP’s French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream is designed for French-speaking candidates with strong English language skills who want to live and work in Ontario.

To be eligible:

  • You must qualify for either the Federal Skilled Worker Program or the Canadian Experience Class under Express Entry.
  • You need at least one year of full-time paid work experience in a TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 job in the last 5 years (FSWP) or 3 years (CEC). Your work experience can be in Canada or overseas, but it must match your primary occupation on your Express Entry profile.
  • You must have a Canadian bachelor's degree or equivalent from another country, and you must prove this through an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA).
  • You must score CLB 6 in English and CLB 7 in French.
  • You must have enough settlement funds and demonstrate your intent to live in Ontario.

The process begins by creating an Express Entry profile and indicating your interest in Ontario. If you are selected, you will receive a Notification of Interest (NOI) from Ontario. Once you receive an NOI, you can apply online to the OINP within 45 days.

Currently, 80% of applications under the OINP are being processed within 8 to 10 months.
