Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) has conducted a new invitation round.
The PEI PNP latest draw held on August 17, 2023, saw invitations being issued to 142 candidates under the Business Work Permit Entrepreneur and Labour & Express Entry categories. This was the second invitation round conducted by Prince Edward Island in August.

*Invitations to Apply (ITAs) under the Critical Worker Stream for August 17, 2023, draw was issued to individuals working for a PEI Employer with a minimum EOI score of 50. Foreign workers with at least two years of relevant experience in Semi-Skilled and Unskilled occupations may be eligible to apply for the Critical Worker Stream of the PEI PNP.
Over the last 12 months, the Prince Edward Island PNP has issued a total of 2,502 invitations to Labor & Express Entry candidates and 78 invitations to Business Work Permit Entrepreneur candidates.
This draw inlines with the proposed PEI PNP draw schedule for 2023.
The PEI PNP Critical Worker stream is a potential Canadian immigration option for workers with a job offer in PEI in an occupation categorized into Training, Education, Experience, and Responsibilities (TEER) 4 or 5. PEI PNP's Critical Worker Stream offers a direct route to Canadian permanent residence for certain workers who may not be eligible to pursue immigration through the Express Entry system.

The PEI PNP Critical Worker stream falls under the Labour Impact category.
Prince Edward Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) invites candidates through an Expression of Interest (EOI) system. This means that interested candidates must first create an EOI profile with the PEI PNP. The EOI profile includes personal information, education, work experience, language proficiency, and other relevant details.
Once a candidate has submitted their EOI profile, they will be assigned a score based on the information provided. The highest-scoring candidates will receive an invitation to apply (ITA) for a provincial nomination.
