The Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) offers two streams for skilled workers and international graduates: the Labor Impact and the Express Entry stream.
The Labor Impact stream is designed for skilled workers who possess the necessary experience and skills in demand by PEI employers. Under this stream, candidates can apply under three categories: Skilled Worker, Critical Worker, and International Graduate. Each category has specific eligibility requirements related to work experience, education, and language proficiency.
On the other hand, the Express Entry stream is aligned with the federal Express Entry system, which manages the applications for three economic immigration programs: the Federal Skilled Worker Class, the Federal Skilled Trades Class, and the Canadian Experience Class. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for one of these programs and also express an interest in living and working in Prince Edward Island may be eligible for nomination through the PEI PNP.
Once nominated, candidates receive additional points in the Express Entry system, increasing their chances of receiving an invitation to apply for Canada PR.
Both the Labor Impact and Express Entry streams of the PEI PNP offer individuals with the skills and qualifications desired by Prince Edward Island a valuable pathway to immigrate to this beautiful province and contribute to its growing economy and thriving communities.
