The Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) has conducted a new draw. This was the first invitation round conducted by the province in March. According to the previously announced draw schedule, the PEI PNP will conduct one monthly draw in 2025.
If you have been invited to the PEI PNP latest draw, you will receive an email with your file number and instructions for submitting your application. At this stage, you will need to complete the required application forms, and your employer must fill out the employer forms.
The PEI PNP latest draw was held on March 20, 2025. A total of 124 candidates from PEI’s Labour & Express Entry stream were invited to apply for permanent residence (PR). Invitations were issued to candidates working in occupations and priority sectors based on economic impact in Prince Edward Island. The focus was on those working and living in Prince Edward Island for a minimum of one year.
No Business Work Permit Entrepreneur invitations were issued.
This was the third draw conducted by PEI PNP. So far 233 invitations have been issued in 2025.

Prince Edward Island PNP draws depend on federal immigration allocations, application volumes, and PEI’s labour market needs. The PEI Office of Immigration usually processes eligible applications and prioritizes higher-demand sectors that best support the current labour market needs.
The first PEI PNP draw of 2025, conducted on January 24, was not part of the announced draw schedule. According to the schedule, we can expect 11 Prince Edward Island PNP draws in 2025.
If you’re invited to these draws, make sure your profile is submitted as soon as you meet the requirements of your chosen stream. Your Expression of Interest (EOI) will remain valid in the system for 6 months after submission. PEI’s EOI ranking system gathers important information about you to rank and select candidates who are most likely to meet PEI’s economic and labour market needs.
Selection Factors
If you meet the minimum score requirements and other eligibility criteria, you will be invited to apply for permanent residence in a PEI PNP draw. Currently, 80% of applications under Prince Edward Island PNP are being processed within 8 to 10 months.
