PEI PNP latest draw invites 86 candidates to apply for PR

Prince Edward Island’s Office of Immigration has conducted a new draw for candidates waiting for an invitation in the pool. This was the first invitation round conducted under the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) in July. This draw inlines with the PEI PNP draw schedule for 2024.

If you are invited to apply in this PEI PNP latest draw, you will receive an email notification that will include your file number and instructions for submission of your file for permanent residency (PR).

PEI PNP Latest Draw - Results

The PEI PNP latest draw held on July 19, 2024, saw invitations being issued to 84 candidates under the Business Work Permit Entrepreneur and Labour & Express Entry streams.

• Business Work Permit Entrepreneur: 2 invitations with a minimum score of 105.
• Labour & Express Entry: 84 invitations.

Selection Attributes

Invitations were issued to:

• Individuals in the Healthcare and Construction sectors,
• Those with Work Permits expiring before the end of 2024 in the Manufacturing and Professional Services sectors, and
• Applicants in the International Graduate stream with Work Permits expiring before the end of 2024.

The PEI Office of Immigration is currently selecting and prioritizing skilled workers in higher-demand sectors such as health care, trades, childcare, and other key industries facing labour shortages. Individuals working in the sales and service sector may not receive an invitation to apply at this time.

PEI PNP Draws - Selection Attributes

The Prince Edward Island Expression of Interest (EOI) system gathers information about candidates to rank and select those who are most likely to meet PEI’s economic and labour market needs. The selection is based on one or more of the following:

• Language: English or French.
• Education: Level and field of education and where completed.
• Skill and work experience level.
• Strategic priorities: attributes that would address immediate labour market needs in PEI;
• Other factors relevant to employment prospects: Including but not limited to having a job offer in PEI and/or previous Canadian work experience.
