The Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) has conducted a new draw. This was the first invitation round conducted by the province in September.

In the PEI PNP latest draws conducted so far in 2024, the PEI Office of Immigration is selecting and prioritising foreign workers and entrepreneurs in in-demand sectors Healthcare, Trades, Childcare, and other key industries facing labour shortages.

PEI PNP Latest Draw - Results

The PEI PNP latest draw was held on September 20, 2024. A total of 48 invitations were issued to candidates across both PEI PNP streams - Business Work Permit and Labour & Express Entry.

If you're invited to apply in the PEI PNP latest draw, you'll receive an email with your file number and instructions for submitting your application. You'll need to complete the required application forms, and your employer must fill out the employer forms.

Over the last 12 months, the Prince Edward Island PNP has issued a total of 21 invitations to Business Work Permit Entrepreneur candidates and 1,376 invitations to Labour & Express Entry candidates.

How do the PEI PNP draws work?

The Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) draws are regular invitations issued by the province of Prince Edward Island, Canada, to candidates who meet specific eligibility criteria. These draws target skilled workers, entrepreneurs, and individuals in the Express Entry system, helping them gain Canadian permanent residency.

PEI conducts these draws usually once a month according to the PEI PNP draw schedule, inviting candidates based on their scores in the PEI PNP points system. The higher your score, the better your chances of receiving an invitation. After being invited, candidates need to apply to the PEI PNP for nomination. If approved, they can apply for permanent residency with the Canadian government.

Currently, 80% of applications under the PEI PNP are being processed within 8-10 months.
