The Prince Edward Island Office of Immigration has conducted a new draw under the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP). This was the first invitation round conducted by the department in August.

In the PEI PNP latest draw conducted so far in 2024, the PEI Office of Immigration is selecting and prioritising skilled workers in in-demand sectors Healthcare, Trades, Childcare, and other key industries facing labour shortages.

PEI PNP Latest Draw - Results

The PEI PNP latest draw was held on August 22, 2024. A total of 57 candidates from the Labour & Express Entry Stream were invited.

If you are invited to apply in this PEI PNP latest draw, you will receive an email notification that will include your file number and instructions for submission of your file. If you are invited you must complete the application forms. Your employer must also complete the employer forms.

If you did not receive an invitation in this draw, your profile will remain active in the pool of candidates. Do not withdraw your application. You may be invited in the next PEI PNP draw. The PEI PNP draws are based on the announced draw schedule.

PEI’s Labour & Express Entry Stream

The PEI Labour and Express Entry Stream is a pathway for individuals who want to live and work in Prince Edward Island (PEI), Canada. This stream is part of the Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) and is designed for skilled workers who meet the province's labour market needs. It has two main categories:

Labour Stream: For workers with a job offer from a PEI employer. It’s suitable for individuals already working in PEI or those who have secured a job there.

Express Entry Stream: Linked with Canada’s Express Entry system, this stream is for candidates who have an active Express Entry profile and meet the PEI PNP criteria. It gives priority to those with the skills and experience needed in PEI.

Successful applicants receive a nomination, which boosts their chances of getting Canadian permanent residency. Currently, 80% of applications under the PEI PNP are being processed within 8-10 months.
