Check eligibility to apply through PEI PNP
*Invitations to Apply (ITAs) under the Critical Worker Stream for the July 20, 2023 draw were issued to individuals working for a PEI Employer with a minimum EOI score of 50. Foreign workers with at least two years of relevant experience in Semi-Skilled and Unskilled occupations may be eligible to apply for the Critical Worker Stream of the PEI PNP.
Over the last 12 months, the Prince Edward Island PNP has issued a total of 2,423 invitations to Labor & Express Entry candidates and 78 invitations to Business Work Permit Entrepreneur candidates.
The Prince Edward Island Provincial Nominee Program (PEI PNP) is a pathway for Skilled Workers and Entrepreneurs to immigrate to Prince Edward Island. The PEI PNP has several immigration streams, and each stream has its own requirements and criteria.
PEI PNP invites candidates through an Expression of Interest (EOI) system. This means that interested candidates must first create an EOI profile with the PEI PNP. The EOI profile includes personal information, education, work experience, language proficiency, and other relevant details.
Once a candidate has submitted their EOI profile, they will be assigned a score based on the information provided. The highest-scoring candidates will receive an invitation to apply (ITA) for a provincial nomination.
The PEI PNP regularly conducts draws to invite the highest-scoring candidates to apply for provincial nomination. The draws typically take place once a month or as mentioned in the Prince Edward Island PNP draw schedule for 2023.
It's important to note that meeting the minimum eligibility requirements does not guarantee an invitation to apply for a provincial nomination. The PEI PNP only invites candidates who meet the program's labor market and economic development priorities.
